about

As in 2013, Jens Kroenert delivers a massive double-album package: “Holographic Demons” is no less than 2 CDs/25 tracks/160 minutes of dark and dirty electronic onslaught, a purist’s nightmare for its stylistic scope, a libertine’s dream for its authentic indulgence in sound.
Jensen pursues his various passions as we know them – speedcore like the unremitting “Forged in Blood”, industrial/EBM like the vocal-heavy “Legions of Noise”, and symphonic grandeur like in “Noizegate”, all sharing one common denominator: The raw, primordial kick drum.
Tune in and join the rollercoaster ride of styles and bpms – from the purebred EBM stomper “Betrayal in Sadness” to the old school acidcore sounds of “Overdrive”, from the industrial hardcore flavor of “Drop the Bomb” to the grunted vocals and bombastic cinematic backdrop of “Sky Earth Underworld” (a track that sounds just about too slow and doomed for Human End).
To max that range even out, Jensen has again invited friends and NOISJ label mates to remix his tracks and add their own flavors: The solemn title track is transformed into a more dance floor friendly version by Red Fever artist Ragnarok, while terrorhead Sliptrip had quite a different idea obviously; repeat offender Tim Kossmann submits a warm acidic techno tune just as Fear Effect, who kick it bouncy dub tech style with earworm string sounds, while Spirit of Progress/Dark Like Hell artist Just a Pilgrim conducts a darker techno approach.
“Holographic Demons” is a king-size stocking filler to be released just in time for ruining your neighbors’ Christmas proper!
